Yakima Named as Top Place to Retire in America

Yakima is one of top places to retire in America according to the July/August 2019 issue of Where to Retire. The publication describes Yakima as the "new Napa" as it talks about the areas wineries, craft beer, restaurants and outdoor activities. Officials with Yakima Valley Tourism say it's fantastic Yakima was named as a top retirement area along with other recognizable areas like Asheville, North Carolina; Austin, Texas; New Orleans, Louisiana; Orlando, Florida; Savannah, Georgia; Scottsdale, Arizona; and Traverse City, Michigan.
