The threat of coronavirus has a lot of America on edge.  After three suspected cases in Yakima were tested and came back negative, the county can claim to be virus free ... for now.

Some say the flu is worse. Others say only the health-compromised elderly are at risk. (Average age of those who have died so far is 80.) Just how seriously should we take the threat with the majority of the nation's deaths so far occurring in Kirkland,  just 142 miles away?

Virginia Mason Memorial physician Dr. Tanny Davenport says the reasonable precautions that we would use to avoid catching the flu should keep almost all of us safe.

Dr. Davenport recently appeared on KIT's Morning News and here's what he had to say about coronavirus and the panic it seems to have created.
