Yakima City Crews Working on 24th Avenue Wednesday

Yakima city crews are installing speed humps that's impacting traffic along a portion of 24th Avenue Wednesday.
The work is underway and will continue until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
A press release says "the section of 24th Avenue between Summitview Avenue and Lincoln Avenue will be closed to through traffic.  City officials say it's important that cars not be parked on the street on 24th Avenue between Summitview and Lincoln while the project is ongoing."  Cars parked on that section of 24th Avenue during the project hours may be towed at the owner’s expense.
