Yakima Affordable Housing Public Discussion Set for June 17th

WHAT: Public Discussion on “Creative Solutions for Affordable Housing” with guest speakers, Reverend Dan Bryant and Reverend David Helseth.

WHEN: Monday, June 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

WHERE: The Seasons Performance Hall, 101 N. Naches Avenue, Yakima.

Public housing experts will be giving talks about efforts to provide affordable and sustainable housing developments for previously homeless adults. Among the topics for discussion will be a Tiny House Village that may soon be developed in Yakima.

Guest speaker, Reverend Dan Bryant, has been featured on CNN, MSNBC, PBS and Ted Talks.

Guest speaker, Reverend David Helseth, will speak about the proposed gated Cotton Hill Village housing development near Milroy Park in Yakima.

The event is free and open to the public.
