Woman Dead in Granger — Homicide Investigation Underway

A murder in Granger is under investigation. Yakima County sheriff's deputies are searching for clues after finding a woman dead in a mobile home park in the 200 block of E Street in Granger.

Granger police and sheriff's deputies were called to the home at about 1 a.m. Thursday after receiving numerous 9-1-1 calls about shots fired in the area. The woman victim was found inside the mobile home. Authorities say they believe she was a victim of a drive-by shooting.

She has not been identified, and no arrests have been made. A homicide investigation is underway.
