Woman Crashes Car into Yakima Fred Meyer Store

Yakima Police say fortunately no one inside the Yakima Fred Meyer store was injured Wednesday when a car crashed through a wall and into the store near the Starbucks coffee counter.

The crash happened at about 1:00 p.m. when a woman drove her blue BMW into the northeast side of the store . Police say the driver had a medical issue that caused the crash. The 40-year-old driver was taken to a hospital. We do not know her condition Today. No one else was injured.
