Successful Ski Season at White Pass with Winter Carnival Soon

With all the snow in the mountains, it has been a busy season so far for area ski resorts like White Pass. Spokesperson Kathleen Goyette says despite the fact they missed opening on Thanksgiving, business has been great. In December, snowfall was 130 percent above normal. With thousands of people driving up Highway 12 to White Pass, that meant more money for businesses along the way. Goyette says they are gearing up for the next big event at White Pass, the 27th annual Winter Carnival set for Mar. 2nd and 3rd.
