Drivers need to find an alternate route over U.S. Highway 12 Monday as crews work to remove a semi-truck in the Tieton River. Washington State Patrol troopers say the driver fell asleep Sunday morning and drove the truck into the river. He was injured but refused medical attention. The road will close 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. from the Oak Creek Feeding Station to the summit of White Pass.
