It is called Save A Life, The Great CPR Blitz 2013 and it is set to happen next month at the Yakima Convention Center. Lynda Boggess is a Coordinator of the event and the Administrative Director of Critical Care Services at Yakima's Memorial Hospital who says the more people who learn CPR the better chance you have of surviving a heart attack. You will not only learn CPR but you will also get free training in AED's or Automatic External Defibrillators that are now located throughout the community. The free event is set for Saturday February 9th. The goal this year is to train up to 1 thousand community members. For more information check out savealifeyakima.org.
