The lifeblood of central Washington is water and on Sunday, Yakima Valley Libraries is kicking off a new round of Lawyers in the Library sessions with a presentation on the history and evolution irrigation, water law, and water rights and in the Yakima Valley and the Pacific Northwest.

The legal side of water rights, including types of water rights, senior water rights, and surface water user rights are all part of the conversation co-presented by attorney Jim Davenport

 

 

The presentation is part of Lawyers in the Library, a free legal aid and information series offered at Yakima Central Library in partnership with the Yakima County Law Library and the Northwest Justice Project.

Sunday’s session begins at 1pm, and will include time for discussion and questions.
