Bill Iffrig is his name.  Known to just friends and family just 24 hours ago, he is now the "old man who got knocked over by the blast at the Boston Marathon."

Where is he from?
78 year-old Bill Iffrig, from Lake Stevens, Washington has arguably been the most viewed individual around the world since yesterday.  The image of him lying on the concrete of Boylston Street - just feet from the finish line of the 117th running of the Boston Marathon yesterday - has graced the front page of newspapers across the country and the globe, including today's Yakima Herald-Republic.

The septuagenarian was competing in his third Boston Marathon and actually finished the race, coming in fourth place in his division and 16,609th overall with a time of 4:03:47

Iffrig's granddaughter, Amanda Kilburn, is from Ellensburg.  She is a student at Central Washington University and was strolling across the campus when she heard the news. "I kind of freaked out and ran home to call my dad. He said my grandpa was OK."

Mr. Iffrig made the media rounds describing those harrowing moments, including this interview with ESPN's Steve Levy.
