Washington National Guard Arrives in Yakima

Help has arrived in Yakima in the form of the Washington National Guard. Monday is the day guard members will begin helping local agencies deal with the impact of COVID-19. The guard members will help the Yakima Health District, Yakima Valley Emergency Management and other local agencies helping in the battle against the virus.
Emergency Management officials say in a press release the guard members will will be managing some of the logistics in setting up the drive thru testing site at the Yakima Valley Sundome to help more people find out if they have the virus.
