Vote Your Ballot Yet? It’s Due August 4 Primary Election Day
More than 119,000 ballots were sent to registered voters in Yakima County July 17. Now a week before ballots are due for the August 4 primary election a majority of the ballots have yet to be voted and returned to the Yakima County Auditors Office. More than 18,000 of the 119,000 have been returned. You can wait until the day of the election to place your ballot in the mail or a drop box. Many people wait to make sure they learn all the information before voting.
You can drop it in the mail no stamp is needed or you can take your ballot to a drop box located across the street from the Yakima County Courthouse on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Drop boxes are also located at 401 Fort Road in Toppenish and 8th Street and Edison in Sunnyside.
Your ballot is due on Primary Election Day August 4.
