Two men have been charged with second-degree murder in connection with home-invasion robbery in Terrace Heights in May in which a 30-year-old man died. 20-year-old Daniel Molina and 19-year-old Forrest Beggs were also charged in Yakima County Superior Court this week with robbery and assault charges. Bail has been set at $1 million for each man.
Authorities say the two men forced their way into the home and stole cash and drugs. During the crime the homeowner Robert Born was shot. Another woman, identified as his mother was assaulted. Born died days after the crime at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The two suspects are being held in the Yakima County Jail.
