Trout Racing Time at the Sportsmen Show — Get In On It!

Another sure sign that spring isn't far off: The annual Central Washington Sportsmen Show returns to the Yakima Valley SunDome the weekend of Feb. 14-16.

And what would the Sportsmen Show be without the kids favorite -- trout racing? Well, let's not even think about that. Instead, let's think about how to get you (or your kids) entered in the competition, which is at 3 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 15) at center court in the SunDome.

This year's races feature 11 heats that pit the young teams (for ages 4-12) against our sister radio stations. Each participant gets a commemorative T-shirt and a bag of candy, and the option of naming the trout that'll carry their hopes winning. The top four finishers (the kids, not the fish) get fishing poles, courtesy of Bi-Mart.
