Time to Answer the Call Again – The Yakima VFW Wants You!
Yakima's VFW Post 379 is going to hoist a membership drive and fundraiser dinner Friday, May 3, 2019, 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm at VFW Post 379, 118 S. 5th Avenue, Yakima WA 98901.
The Post will be open to everyone in the community and especially to the veterans, all active duty military personnel and their families.
Kim’s Got Smoke BBQ will cater the chow, Rock Garden will handle the live music and having a great time for just $14 a head is up to you!
Like a lot of Posts across the nation Yakima's 379 has a membership with more than 70% being 70 years old or older which has lead to the organization working to recruit veterans from later conflicts as well as active duty military.
