Three People Shot Sunday After Dispute Turns Into Shooting

Yakima Police are investigating after three people were shot Sunday leaving one person in critical condition at Seattle's Harborview Medical Center. Authorities say officers were first called at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday to an alley in the 300 block of North Ninth Street where they found a man and a woman who had been shot. The victims, in their mid-20's were taken to a Yakima hospital. The woman suffered a non-life threatening wound but the man was later transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he was reported in critical condition on Sunday.

A news release from Yakima Police says at about the same time another man, also in his mid-20's was dropped off at a Yakima hospital also suffering from a serious gunshot wound.  Police say an investigation continues but they believe they three were in some type of dispute and that lead to the two males exchanging gunfire. No names have been released.
