On this date in 1963, the British invasion got real when New York deejay Murray The K played the Beatles' "She Loves You" on the radio in what's believed to be the first time a Beatles song was played in the U.S.

For the next 6 years, Beatles music, the counter culture, the war in Viet Nam, national protests and more all helped shape the formative years of Chuck Schumer who was12 in 1963 , Nancy Pelosi 23,  Bernie Sanders 22, Joe Biden 20, Jerry Nadler 16.  Where's the love today gang?  The Beatles sang so much about love.
