This Day In History – Osama bin Laden Meets Seal Team Six

This Day in History landmark event was a long time coming...but come it did.  On this day, may 1st in 2011 President Barack Obama announced in a late-night address that a team of U.S. Navy SEALs had killed Osama bin Laden in a raid on a compound in Pakistan.

The mastermind of the 9/11 attack on the world trade center had been in hiding for years but US forces never gave up their search for the terrorist.

If you haven't see the movie Zero Dark Thirty, I strongly suggest you do.  We said we would never forget but at time it feels like we have.  This movie will serve as a reminder.
