I've always been fascinated by the J.R.R. Tolkien books about The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings ever since one of my middle school English teachers forced us to read them. (Shout out to Mr. Fricks, he was the greatest!)

My 13-year-old daughter thinks I'm too old to be this much of a fan of Lord of the Rings movies. I am so enthralled with it that I recently bought a pack Lord of the Rings themed earrings at Hot Topic!

Bilbo Baggins was a lovable chap who lived in a quaint village in Middle Earth. He was minding his own business, when all of a sudden, he was thrust into an epic voyage to save the planet!

The Warehouse Theatre Company is bringing this delightful classic story (and movie epilogue) to the stage, via humans, puppetry, and shadow play!

FUN FACT: Did you know you can stay in a "Hobbit House" here in Washington state on Bainbridge Island? It's available on Airbnb, hosted by Mary.

Just so you know, this itty bitt hobbit house DOES have heat and electricity but DOES NOT have a bathroom, shower, or place to cook any food. If you go, you'll be "glamping." (I guess that's the old shire way? LOL)
