The Country’s Largest Hop Supplier Haas Hops Expanding

A local business is making a multi-million dollar expansion here in Yakima. Haas is the largest supplier of hop products in the country and plans to keep it that way. Construction started at the corner of 16th Avenue and River Road. A new building will house a technology center along with the first of its kind research brewery and offices.

"We're real excited about the project it's been a long time in the making and we are really happy to help the Yakima community, the growers and we really view this as a win win win," said Tom Davis with Haas Incorporated.

The new location will add ten new jobs. Construction will be done next summer.
