The City of Yakima Wants Your Help to Plan the Development of Downtown.

Tonight city leaders will hold a public workshop on the Downtown Yakima Master Plan. They want input from people in the community about what they would like to see in town. Economic Development Manager, Sean Hawkins says all ideas are welcome and will be considered as they create the master plan. "I have got a lot of ideas and some of our council members have ideas, but this is a public process and we really want those ideas from the community. That is what makes this process work," Hawkins says. The public workshop is set for 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. tonight at the Howard Johnson in Yakima. Everyone is welcome to attend.
