MOXEE (AP) — A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of threatening to kill school administrators.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports the 15-year-old East Valley High School student was arrested Friday and set to be booked into juvenile detention.

East Valley School District superintendent John Schieche said a school lockdown was lifted after about 20 minutes once law enforcement officials spoke with the girl.

Yakima County Sheriff's Office Chief Bob Udell said the girl is suspected of assaulting and threatening to kill administrators.

Udell said a staff member reported being pushed by the girl.

No weapons or intoxicants are believed to have been involved.
