 Pressure to perform—results in wide scale allegations of cheating…not by student but by teachers and administrators in the Atlanta School District. An investigation has revealed that significant gains made by students in Atlanta were the result of cheating by some 178 teachers and principals in what's likely the largest cheating scandal in U.S. history.

 The Georgia Bureau of Investigation report reveals “a widespread conspiracy by teachers, principals and administrators to erase and change incorrect answers on a key standardized test.”

More and more often standardized tests results are used to punish and reward students, teachers and principals and this Atlanta scandal is just the latest national case of test fixing.
