Suspect Charged with Assault for Beating Caught on Tape

The Yakima County Prosecutors office has charged a 16-year-old boy with second-degree assault after police say he punched and body slammed a 14-year-old boy earlier this month. The charges were filed in Yakima County Juvenile Court.
The incident caught on tape happened October 3rd in east Yakima.
The suspect is being held in the juvenile jail. Bail has been set at $5,000.
The victim was not seriously injured but he did suffer a concussion. He was treated and released from a local hospital.
The video of the incident was played on social media.
