Suspect Arrested For Gang Related Shooting

A 19 year old suspect has been arrested in a shooting that police say was gang related The suspect was arrested in connection with the shooting of a 29 year old man on January 4th in the 14 hundred block of cherry avenue. Police were called to the area because of a report of shots fired but no arrests were made. Information received at the scene, however, lead to the suspect's arrest this week. He's being held in the Yakima County Jail. The victim suffered a non life threatening wound to his shoulder.
