Street Work On Yakima Avenue Could Slow Your Commute

If your commute takes you along Yakima avenue work this week could delay you. Utility work will result in the closure of West Yakima Ave between South 4th Avenue and South 3rd Avenue from Tuesday, October 3rd through Thursday, October 6th. Work on the project will happen from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Because of heavy traffic volume, drivers can expect delays in the project area. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is completed.
Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related works zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
