Even camping is becoming a challenge as the state fights Covid-19.  That's because all camping on public lands – including dispersed camping and designated campgrounds – is now closed until the end of April as the state continues to work to slow the spread of COVID-19. That means all state-owned campgrounds are now closed and will remain closed until April 30.
Campers that are currently in the now closed areas were asked to leave Monday.
Trails and day use areas are still open along with Washington beaches. But state officials are asking people to avoid beaches because of the large crowds
