Sportsman Show Bringing Felines to Sundome

The 25th annual Central Washington Sportsman Show opens today in the Yakima Sundome.

Spokesman Rob Phillips says there is daily hunting and fishing seminars, casting pools plus the Great Cats World Park Show.

Phillips says there is lots of stuff for the family to enjoy but he tells KIT News, "The fastest growing portion of both hunting and angling industry is women. So it's a growing portion of our industry."

Along with all the activities people will also see the latest gear and ORVs. There are also guides and others who can talk about lodges and resorts where anyone can plan a dream trip.

The show opens at 1:00 p.m. Friday and closes at 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
