A news release says;

"Low-cost spay and neuter services are few and far between in Yakima County. Misunderstood Mutts partners with Rescue Pet Vet to provide the service to local residents for just $50. These folks drive from Bellingham and Olympia once per month to provide these crucial services. The owner pays 1/3 of the cost, while the rescue covers 2/3. More than 200 applicants have applied since June 2020, and there are more than 140 people on a rotating waiting list. This is a much needed service for this community. Misunderstood Mutts plans to offer the service monthly through 2021."
