
Sounders Tied Up Whitecaps in the Final Minutes.
VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) — Lamar Neagle scored for Seattle in the 72nd minute and the Sounders tied the Vancouver Whitecaps 1-1 in a CONCACAF Champions League game last night. Tim Parker replied for the Whitecaps as both clubs opened Group F play. Neagle scored off a free kick that looped over the penalty area to Andy Rose on the right. He sent a ball back into the box to Neagle and he fired a shot high over Paolo Tornaghi.
