LAS VEGAS (AP) — Sex sells -- but will it sell saving water in Sin City? Officials in the Las Vegas area hope so. The Southern Nevada Water Authority is launching an ad campaign to promote water conservation. The ads use the slogan, "There's Nothing Sexier Than Saving Water." The tongue-in-check campaign was developed by R&R Partners, the firm behind Vegas' most famous tagline: "What Happens Here, Stays Here." Much of the West is gripped by a record-breaking drought.
