Selah Community Days 2026 is set to kick off this Thursday with a family friendly event May 14 to May 17 at Wixson Park. It's a weekend full of fun, fireworks, and community spirit.

HONORING AMERICA'S BIRTHDAY

This year's event will feature a patriotic red, white, and blue theme in honor of America's 250th birthday, making it a celebration to remember. According to Yakima Valley Tourism kicking off the festivities on Thursday is the Young Life Community Dinner at the Selah Civic Center from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The carnival packed with loads of rides for all ages opens on Thursday.

DON'T MISS THE POTATO FEED

On Friday, the community is invited to enjoy the 28th annual potato feed at the Selah Civic Center, running from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. This local tradition offers a hearty meal and a chance for neighbors to gather and celebrate together.

ONE OF THE LARGEST PARADES IN CENTRAL WASHINGTON

The grand parade, one of the highlights of Selah Community Days, will roll through town on Saturday at 10:00 am. Starting at East 5th Avenue and Jim Clements Way, the parade will travel north and will end at North Park Drive, showcasing colorful floats, community groups, and local organizations.
