Second Suspect Arrested In Attempted Burglary And Shooting At Yakima Home
Yakima Police have arrested a second suspect wanted in a burglary and shooting reported early Friday morning at a home in the 1600 block of South 12th Avenue. Police say two suspects tried to burglarize the home at about 5:30 a.m. Friday morning but a resident at the home grabbed and gun and chased the suspects into the neighborhood where gunfire was exchanged. One 21-year-old suspect was shot and taken to a hospital with a non life threatening wound. He remains in the hospital Today. Police arrested the second suspect, an 18-year-old man at his Yakima home over the weekend. He's being held in the Yakima County jail. Both men face burglary and assault charges.
