It's been a great rivalry since the Seattle Seahawks moved from the AFC West to the NFC West beginning back in the 2002 NFL Season. The San Francisco 49ers visit CenturyLink Field in Seattle this Sunday, November 1st. Kickoff is at 1:25 PM.

If you're as tired as I am about the often awful play-by-play announcers on television, you can always watch on TV and listen to one of our Townsquare Media Stations who cover the game. Newstalk 1280 KIT-AM and 94.5 KATS-FM give you the choice of AM or FM and full pregame and post-game coverage as well as every exciting moment of the game!

Yes, who can forget that incredible matchup in Seattle, for the NFC Championship Game that would ultimately send the Seahawks to Superbowl 48? I remember, it was my birthday, January 20th 2013 and the Hawks edged the 49ers thanks in part to this amazing play by then Seahawk (now 49er) Richard Sherman.

Everyone agrees that the NFC West this year is clearly the mighiest division in the league, with all four teams sporting winning records. The Seahawks, 5-1, are coming off their first loss of the season to Arizona and they're poised and ready to greet the very hot San Francisco 49ers for another legendary showdown.

The Seahawks, in the 'Russell Wilson Era', are 39-8 in games following a loss. That's pretty good bounce-back ability by the Pete Carroll led team and there's no time like the present to make it 40-8. With so many injuries at running back however, many have rumored the possibility of bringing back 'Beastmode' for another go. I'd say that's not much more likely than me squeezing into my cleats from back-in-the-day. Mmmm, that's not even funny. My back hurts. I'm sitting down now.
