
Fans Invited to Seahawks Event in Union Gap on Wednesday
It's time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Seattle Seahawks football and you can do that right here in Yakima Wednesday. If you're a fan you know since 1976 1200 players and millions of fans called 12s have played and watched leaving their mark on the Seahawks legacy.
YOU'RE INVITED TO ENJOY THE CELEBRATION WEDNESDAY
How about enjoying a lunch with the Seahawks? In addition to the on-field celebrations, the team is engaging with fans through community events. As part of the Seahawks’ 50th Anniversary festivities, a special event is scheduled Wednesday in Union Gap at Los Hernandez Tamales. From 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm, fans can meet Seahawks Dancers, the Mascot Blitz and Seahawks legend Mack Strong. According to Wikipedia Strong was born September 11, 1971 and was a fullback for the Seattle Seahawks for 15 seasons. He played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs and was signed by the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 1993.

Since their inaugural season in 1976, the Seahawks have built a rich legacy filled with exciting moments, legendary players, and enthusiastic fans known as the 12s. Over the past five decades, more than 1,200 players have donned the Seahawks jersey, each contributing to the team’s great history of grit, resilience, and competitive greatness.
