The Seattle Seahawks and running back Shaun Alexander went 13-3 in 2005. Alexander ran for 1,880 yards and scored 28 touchdowns en route to being named the NFL's Most Valuable Player, as the Seahawks advanced to the Superbowl.

Injuries took their toll in the years after that and Alexander played his last season with the Washington Redskins.
