Suspect Arrested In Yakima After He Leaves Cell Phone And Keys At Scene Of Robbery
Yakima Police say a 37-year-old man who robbed the Quickstop on West Yakima Avenue Sunday night was arrested shortly after the robbery. Police spokesman Mike Bastinelli says the suspect identified as Lacy Anderson was found in a yard near the store. Police say he matched the description of the suspect in the stores surveillance video. But Bastinelli says police also had other evidence. "He left his keys and cell phone behind and the keys that were found matched a vehicle that was registered to him."
And Bastinelli says Anderson's vehicle was found parked behind the store at 702 West Yakima Avenue. Anderson is facing a first degree robbery charge. He's being held in the Yakima County jail Today.
