River Road Widening Project to Start in This Spring

A project to widen River Road into three lanes will start this spring. It covers the stretch between Sixth and Sixteenth Avenues. The work includes adding a bike lane, along with a new curb, gutter and sidewalk. Yakima is spending more than a million dollars to do it. The project should be finished this summer.
