Raise Money Have Fun With Dogs On Saturday In Yakima

A big charity event to benefit the Yakima County Sheriff's Office Canine Unit is set for Saturday,  June 23 in Yakima. The Yakima group Love on a Leash is holding the fundraiser between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at Chalet Place at 56th and Summitview Avenue in Yakima.
There will be baked goods for sale and a raffle and a chance to meet Deputy Nick Ward and his K9, Zuza and Deputy Justin Paganelli, and his K9 Remington.
Yakima Valley Love on a Leash is an organization of volunteers and their service dogs that hold fundraisers and visit elementary schools, retirement centers and assisted living homes.
