Well… it’s October! Meaning the Halloween season has arrived, and it’s a tradition to carve a pumpkin. Check out these local pumpkin patches in the Yakima area!

Washington Fruit Place At Barrett Orchards

Located at 1209 Pecks Canyon Rd in Yakima, Washington Fruit Place holds its annual October Days festival every Saturday and Sunday throughout the month. Not only do they have a small pumpkin patch, but they also have orchard hayrides, a hay maze for little kids, fresh cider pours, bakery goods, a gift shop, and much more!

Thompson’s Farm

Similar to Barrett Orchards, Thompson’s Farm hosts its pumpkin patch and fall festival every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. At Thompson’s, you can pick your own apples and pumpkins, navigate their corn maze, go on orchard hayrides, watch giant cannons launch pumpkins, and watch pig races after each cannon launch!
