A breeze is blowing through the valley today clearing a lot of the smoke that caused breathing problems and forced the cancellation of football games and the SunFair parade. But Dave Caprilie , the director of the Yakima Clean Air Authority says it's a short lived relief because stagnant conditions are expected to return by the end of the week. Caprilie says the burn ban remains in effect for all of Eastern Washington until at least Sunday. Caprilie is hoping the wind continues through the week. But, there's a possibility we could see more smokey conditions at the end of the week.
