Police Chief Interview Continues

The interim City Manager Michael Morales will be in Ellensburg today checking out Dale Miller...the chief of the Ellensburg Police department. Miller is one of two finalists for the job of Yakima Police chief. Morales will be talking to Miller's Collegues and residents of Ellensburg to see if Miller would be a good fit in Yakima.

Last week Morales was in Chicago for the same type of visit for the other finalist Dominick Rizzi jr. a watch commander with the Chicago Police department. A new chief is expected to be named within the next 2 weeks.
