
One Pedestrian Hurt Another Killed in Wednesday Crashes
The Washington State Patrol is investigating after a man was hit by a vehicle early Wednesday morning while he was walking along State Route 823 near Selah.
The crash was reported at 5:45 am
Troopers say the crash happened at about 5:45 am when a driver was traveling south on State Route 823, 2 miles Northeast of Selah. They say as the vehicle approached 20-year-old William Enault of Yakima he walked into the roadway where he was hit by the vehicle. Enault was taken to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital with injuries. We don't know his condition Today. The driver was not injured or cited.
The first crash was deadly and happened at 5:17 am
Before that crash The Washington State Patrol says another man was killed by a vehicle on the Valley Mall exit off of I-82. The crash happened at about 5:17 am. Troopers say a the driver struck a 48-yar-old man who was standing in the road. The man who died hasn't been identified. The drivers were not injured or cited in either crash.
