
No Gang Related Arrests After Violent July
Yakima Police haven't yet made any arrests in a series of shootings that left several people with gunshot wounds during the month of July. So far this month no gang shootings have resulted in anyone being injured. Capt. Jay Seely says rival gang members are clashing and july was a violent month.
The last clash happened late last month at the intersection of East Chestnut and Union Street when shots were fired between two vehicles of rival gang members. No injuries were reported and no arrests have been made yet in any of the reported shootings in July.
Seely says police are determined to stop the gang shootings before others are injured or killed. The investigation continues Today.
