WASHINGTON (AP) — This should be an interesting one. NFL star Pierre Garcon has filed a class-action lawsuit against the popular daily fantasy sports website FanDuel. The suit from Garcon claims the site of profits off his name and likeness without permission. The suit is the latest legal challenge for the daily fantasy industry — which launched a multimillion-dollar advertising blitz at the start of the NFL season. Garcon claims FanDuel has repeatedly used his name and likeness in its TV ads on its website without his consent. Garcon claims he and other players should be compensated by FanDuel for the use of their names, which he says has driven up revenues for the company.
