NFL.com's Mike Silver says that  he has come down with Seahawks Fever and that Seattle will beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl XLVIII.

Mike Silver has an impressive resume when it comes to covering the NFL, with stints at Sports Illustrated and Yahoo Sports. Now with NFL.com, Silver writes at length about Seattle, quarterback Russell Wilson, and how he felt the National Football League "jumped the shark" last year when the Seahawks beat the Packers on that controversial Hail Mary touchdown.

Silver wrote Wednesday at NFL.com:

“Even without the services of newly acquired wideout Percy Harvin, who’ll miss most (or all) of the season while recovering from hip surgery, Seattle is ready to rock,” Silver wrote. Head coach Pete “Carroll will field a deep and driven team led by an indefatigable franchise quarterback who’s convinced that last year’s playoff performance (which included a road victory over Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins) was merely an opening act.”
