New Businesses Opening Up in Yakima

Despite this tough economy a number of new businesses are opening in the valley everyday, including new restaurants. The new Carl's Jr. restaurant is expected to open late next month on south First Street where the former Wendy's restaurant was located. The owner, who also operates a Carl's Jr. in Ellensburg, says he'll start serving burgers around August 20th. Also, Famous Dave's BBQ will open in Union Gap early next year along with a host of new stores, including Cabelas and J.C. Penny.
