A new business has opened up near downtown Yakima, and they are already making a splash - of coffee and Red Bull drinks.

Las Toxicas, a Latina-owned bikini barista coffee stand, pays homage to the owner's Mexican-American roots and the exterior of the retail shop's building showcases vibrant colors and art inspired by Mexico.

You might have seen their digital billboard while driving down Yakima Avenue. If you drive past Eve's Garden on Lincoln Avenue then you've gone too far; Las Toxicas (307 N 6th Ave) is located in the same parking lot as the lingerie shop but is not affiliated.

I'm notorious for drinking plain Americano drip coffees with no sugar or cream, but today I got to try one of their cold Americano brews made the Washington State way - with espresso, a shot of flavor, poured over ice with a splash of half-and-half cream. I highly recommend it!

The business will host a grand opening on Saturday, August 1st from 7 a.m to 3 p.m., and they serve coffee and Red Bull flavored drinks as well as bites to eat.
