Naches: Gateway to the Cascades

While kids in the Yakima Valley returned to school last week people are still enjoying the last days of summer. Many people spent time in Naches for the annual Sportsman's Days celebration this past weekend. The hometown event featured a midway, food and music in Depot Park. The next big event for the Yakima Valley is the Yakima Tacofest Saturday, Sept. 14 at Sarg Hubbard Park.  Then on Sept. 20, the Central Washington State Fair begins a run that lasts through Sept. 29.
